There is this massive misconception out there that in order to meditate regularly (not just when life is jolly) that you're doing it "wrong" if your mind is busy or you catch yourself "thinking too much".
There is also a bit of a story people tell themselves about not having enough time. I am going to call a loving BS here and say - it's not a priority and that you absolutely have time if you are making time to scroll the gram + read my post (thank you - keep doing that).
